Delray Beach is a coastal neighborhood in West Palm Beach. In 2012, Rand McNally "Best of the Road" named Delray Beach America's Most Fun Small Town. Delray Beach was rated as the 3rd Happiest Seaside Town in America by Coastal Living in 2015.
Delray Beach is one of South Florida's most popular beach destinations. The area is noted for its restaurants, retail shops, nightclubs, art galleries, and hotels. East Atlantic Avenue is noted for its nightlife, dining, and shopping. The street is also a regular destination for various art fairs and street festivals. The Pineapple Grove Arts District, located downtown just north of Atlantic Avenue, is noted for its galleries, performance art, and cultural organizations. Other notable attractions in Delray Beach are Arts Garage, the Delray Beach Playhouse, Cason Cottage House Museum, the Sandoway Discovery Center, the historic Sundy House, the Murakami Museum, and the Wakodahatchee Wetlands.
Delray Beach can be accessed on the Downtown Roundabout, a free shuttle bus that connects the Tri-Rail Station to downtown Delray Beach. The area can also be accessed via PalmTran and Intracoastal Waterway.
