If a narrated tour just isn’t what you’re looking for, try an Urban Adventure Quest instead. Urban Adventure Quests make the city your game board as you use clues on your smartphone to help you complete challenges while learning about local history and culture. As you participate in this urban scavenger hunt with a small group of friends or family, you’ll be competing with other teams for bragging rights and a spot on the leaderboard. You can begin your quest at any time, so head to the starting line whenever you're ready to go.
The Dallas Art District Quest starts at the Meyerson Symphony Center. From there, you’ll receive clues that will guide you to some of the city’s hotspots for art and architecture. We can’t tell you exactly what you’ll find, because that would give your team an unfair advantage, but we can assure you that you’ll have plenty of fun while you’re looking.
Discover the Dallas Arts District:
The Quest should take you about 2-3 hours to complete unless you take time out for other adventures. If you get hungry or just need a break, you can exit the Quest and come back to it when you’re ready, but the timer doesn’t stop until you’ve answered the final question. If you’re in it to win it, there’s no time to waste!
To go on a Quest, your team needs a mobile device with data. A second device isn’t necessary, but it might make it easier to find the information you need to complete the challenges.
