Coronado Island

Located 13 minutes away from the heart of San Diego, Coronado is a beautiful island that provides unlimited options for entertainment ranging from scuba diving to renting paddle boards and watching the sunset while eating delicious food. It is an unforgettable getaway that you can't miss! You can get here from San Diego by car or taking the Coronado Ferry that runs during the week from 5:15 AM to 6:00 PM and from 9 AM to 10 PM on the weekends.

To explore the island, you can walk around or rent scooters or bikes along the Bayshore Bikeway- a beautiful path surrounded by palm trees. You will pay depending on how long you ride them but to give them the best use, it is always a great idea to get a pass for the full day. Known for its gorgeous beaches, Coronado has five white sand options worth to explore: Coronado Central Beach, Coronado Dog Beach, Glorietta Bay Beach, Silver Strand State Beach, and the Ferry Landing Marketplace. No matter which one you visit, you will find that all of them have in common a family-friendly atmosphere. From sports activities to lying on the beach, there are plenty of things to do! Food-wise, this island has great seafood due to its proximity to the Ocean. Fresh ceviche, oysters, and tacos are some of the go-to options that most of the locals and tourists choose. Prices can range from about $15 to $30 per person, especially if you pick a restaurant with a beachfront view. Look at this video and find more things to do!
