If you can snag tickets to a gig, be sure not to miss the incredible outdoor music experience at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre. The venue can hold up to 19,000 visitors, and so it has naturally been home to some incredible local and national acts.
Opened in 1996, the venue was named Coral Sky because the seats offer gorgeous sunset views during gigs. Visitors to West Palm are given the unique experience of listening to some stellar performances underneath the tropical night skies. Despite locals’ affinity for the name, the venue has gone through so many name changes that it has been the most name-changed amphitheater in the United States.
Some of the past performances include Phish, the Spice Girls, Muse, and Train. Notably, the Dave Matthews Band has performed at the amphitheater more than 30 times. The venue has also held national events such as The Mayhem Festival and The Vans Warped Tour.
Aside from its amazing acoustics, visitors also enjoy food and drink options. This includes craft beers and even a Guy Fieri eatery known as Guy's Burger Joint. People are usually pleasantly surprised by the dishes available, noting the portobello burger, vegetarian nachos, buffalo chicken sandwich, and the 24-inch Bavarian-style pretzel meant for sharing with two to four people.
Parking is offered to visitors approximately 3 hours before the show, and be sure to plan this well because you will have to pay extra parking charges if you arrive too early. There are also different seating options at the venue, including covered seating and lawn options.
