Ready for some relaxation after running around the city? Be sure to stop by Cira Center's top floor park. Named Philadelphia's Park in the Sky, the view is quite unlike any other you'll find in the city. Cira Green is a park built on the roof of a 12-story parking garage. The skyscraper offers rooftop access to visitors with stunning views of the Philly skyline. Its location in University City means that its views give visitors an entire view of the downtown of Philly.
Located in University City, Cira Green is one of those hidden treasures of the city. There's little to advertise the park in the sky, so make sure you know where you're going. The main entrance is located along South 30th Street, just a few blocks away from the Philly Amtrak Station.
Cira Green offers dozens of exclusive events including big-screen movies and craft beer parties. Their tagline - "Escape the ordinary" - promises visitors panoramic views and respite from the hustle of Philly. Some of their recent events include rooftop yoga, "Happy Hour"with animals, and movie screenings.
The park's food is an ode to the American past, as the Sunset Social gives visitors an authentic burger experience. You can also choose to bring your own food from the numerous cafe's in University City. Couple this with classic American games such as corn hole, cricket and giant Jenga.
