Located in a historic former bank building in Pittsburgh's Southside neighborhood, Carson City Saloon is the perfect spot on game day. The rows of televisions always tuned to sports games and killer food makes the Saloon a high-energy destination for sports fans. The high walls are full of Pittsburgh sports memorabilia including a jersey from the Penguins team captain Sidney Crosby as well as from the former Pittsburgh hockey god Mario Lemieux.
Carson City Saloon offers a lengthy menu of pub food options including some unique creations like their quesadilla burger complete with bacon, lettuce, pico de gallo, Doritos, and spicy ranch drizzle. The wings are a hit with flavors ranging from smoked parmesan to Buffalo Ranch or the kitchen sink where customers choose any three sauces to mix. The Saloon has daily specials such as Monday wing night, Wednesday and Thursday College nights, and of course Steelers Sunday Miller Lite bucket specials. With a great variety of beer on tap and featured drink menu, Carson City Saloon has something for everyone. For the extra thirsty, they offer 64oz fishbowl drinks including the Call A Cab. Made with white, dark, and coconut rum, blackberry and banana liquor, cranberry, and orange juice, customers will quickly understand how this fruity libation got its name.
Also home to several bar crawl events, the Saloon has a rooftop space for those super crowded days. The deck overlooks the banks of the Monongahela River and has open-air capabilities or can be heated depending on the unpredictable Pittsburgh weather.
