Bullfrog Bagels

Located in the urban and hip neighborhood of the Atlas District of Washington D.C., Bullfrog Bagel has created a name for itself—and for good reason. Its trendy menu and homemade bagels make it a great place to grab breakfast or lunch while sightseeing along the National Mall, or the perfect spot to stop by for a drink and bagel at Bar Bullfrog in the evening.

Each of their signature recipe artisan bagels is baked fresh daily in house. Choose from 8 different varieties, including, plain, sesame, everything, cinnamon raisin, asiago, poppy, salt, and onion. Menu items include "bagelwiches" topped with fresh vegetables, cheeses, and meats like fish, pastrami, and corned beef.

The New York style bagel shop cooks bagels the traditional way—hand-rolled and boiled before baking them in the oven. This creates the crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside texture, making the bagels the perfect canvas for any of the toppings offered on the menu. But bagels aren't the only thing that Bullfrog Bagels does well. They also have a full-service bar called Bar Bullfrog onsite, perfect for anyone looking for a cozy setting for a weeknight date or to grab a craft brew. The full menu is served until 10 p.m. and late-night food is served until closing. There are also 10 taps with 7 local beers and 3 wines to choose from, as well as a full bar. The bar is open 4 p.m.–11 p.m. Tuesday–Thursday,10 a.m–1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 p.m.–11 p.m. Sunday.
