Very Local NOLA makes it easier to love New Orleans better, to love New Orleans more, to love New Orleans fully by connecting you to the people, events, food, culture, and entertainment that make the Crescent City incomparable.
Located on Royal Street in the historic French Quarter, Brennan's treats its guests to fine dining within its doors, and its co-operated Roost Bar operates the top floor and courtyard.
And it is - it's the birthplace of bananas foster. It created it in name of a patron, Richard Foster. You can learn the history of bananas foster while watching it made by a Brennan chef below.
At $65 per person, you know Brennan's Reveillon is something special.
Another Brennan's original is the Eggs Hussarde (Housemade English Muffins, Coffee Cured Canadian Bacon, and Marchand De Vin Sauce), which forms the anchor of their historic Creole menu.
Their special seasonal reveillon menu features two courses (three if you count dessert), but it makes up for it with drinks.
For the ‘Eye Opener’ is a brandy milk punch.
The first course is an oyster soup, followed by Eggs Nouvelle, a fancy way of saying poached eggs, lump crabmeat, and spiced cauliflower.
For dessert, there’s sticky toffee pudding and…more drinks!
