Zip Line Bootleg Canyon

Soar over the Mojave Desert through some of Nevada's most dramatic scenery on a ziplining tour with Flightlinez. This popular trip offers guests the opportunity to see local wildlife and experience a small amount of guided hiking in the canyon.

Available Tours

Flightlinez's tour features four zip lines that cover about one and a half miles of the canyon. Different aspects of the canyon are highlighted depending on what tour you choose to take. For example, morning tours offer a better opportunity to spot local wildlife such as big horned sheep, red-tail hawks, and chuckwallas. Guests that choose the midday tours experience bright blue skies under the hot desert sun. Sunset tours, which run from April through October, are extremely popular when the late setting sun brilliantly illuminates the canyon. The colors on the desert landscape are said to be stunningly beautiful. Lastly, the moonlight zip line tour offers visitors a unique evening zip line experience. Visitor Information

Tours last about two and a half hours. Once at the starting point, guests hike about 10 to 15 minutes to the first platform on top of Red Mountain. Top zip line speeds can reach up to 60 mph. The actual time on the zip lines is approximately three minutes.
