Choose Chicago® is the official destination marketing organization for Chicago, Illinois. When you’re in Chicago, you’re home. With the countless experiences there are to have here, you're absolutely welcome to do any and all of them.

Have you ever encountered a building that occupied an entire block? Well, look no further than Chicago's block buildings. Buildings like Macy's on State Street are so large they occupy entire city blocks.

On the corner of Michigan Avenue and Randolph Street, encounter the Chicago Cultural Center, a neoclassic landmark which has the largest Tiffany stained-glass dome in the world!

This stunning building is host to musical and dance performances, theatre productions, films, lectures, art exhibits, and family events.

Want to check out another block-long building? Block 37 across the way is a five-story modern urban mall boasting its own gourmet food hall, “Latinicity,” and a dine-in AMC movie theatre.
