Playing an active role in the success of the Lincoln Park business since 1947, today’s Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce is evolving to reflect the entire neighborhood – from families calling it home to businessmen and women making their livelihood to friends visiting for the day.

Barry's Bootcamp is one the most influential fitness gyms in the world. Credited by many for fueling the high intensity workout class craze, it continues to expand in scope and popularity. Barry's Bootcamp is structured around always changing classes that push participants into burning upwards of 1,000 calories a class. These high-intensity classes are optimized to tone muscle, maximize fat loss, and speed up metabolism so that calories are still being burned after the class is finished.

Known by many for their signature red lights and loud workout music, the gym has unique feel that tends to bring the best out of participants. The classes involve a combination of weight training with cardio and alternate bursts of anaerobic exercise to keep the heart-rate elevated for the whole workout. Barry's signature classes are ideal for burning the maximum amount of calories and increasing lean body mass.

Every day at Barry's is different, there is no way to get bored of the classes because they are always changing and evolving. Each day focuses on a different muscle group, carefully designed to ensure the whole body is balanced and has proper recovery time. The original classes involve 25 minutes of cardio on the treadmill and 25 min of strength training. The Double Floor classes are all strength training for anyone who doesn't feel like hopping on the treadmill that day.
