The Asheville Brewing Company was the third brewery to open in this western North Carolina town and has been "keeping Asheville hoppy since 1998!" ever since. Originally, the brewing company opened as a mash-up pizza joint, second-run movie theater, and brewpub—all in one North Asheville location. The brewing company has since expanded into two more locations: one in downtown Asheville's hip South Slope area in 2006 and the other in South Asheville in 2012. With the mission of serving great food, quality craft beer, excellent service, and fun for all, Asheville Brewing Company's locations have become a favorite amongst the community.
There are a variety of different beers on tap at each of the three Asheville Brewing locations. Asheville Brewing features several different beers that are frequently rotating out with new brews, ranging from a variety of pale ales and IPAs, porters, ciders, ginger beers, and stouts.
If you like hearty pub food when you visit a brewery, Asheville Brewing Company is ideal for you. Two of their locations, North Asheville and Downtown, offer plenty of burgers, sandwiches and "legendary pizzas" for diners, while the South Asheville location only offers delivery and carry out.

If delicious brews and food weren't enough, Asheville Brewing stands out from the rest of this mountain town's breweries with its quirky second-run theater located right inside the brewery. Tickets to each movie are $3 for admission and have become a favorite late-night activity for locals. The theater has featured movies like Shawshank Redemption and Reservoir Dogs, as well as new releases of popular TV series like Rick and Morty.
