Open every day of the week from 11 am to 6 pm but not Tuesdays, the Art Museum is located in the center square of downtown Asheville. Their exhibitions and public programs are based on its permanent collection of 20th and 21st century American Art. Also, some of the artwork showcases the significance of Western North Carolina's cultural heritage.
"Points of View" is one of the most popular exhibitions that people enjoy because it showcases the importance of photography in today's world. Donors from all over the country have provided their gifts to this Museum attracting more and more visitors. Also, "Many Become One" is a well-known collection that encourages us to consider our place in the world. The artists brought many separate parts together to make a unified whole, offering the possibility to interpret this as ways to navigate our physical world on regional, national and global levels.

The general admission for this museum is on average $15 and it gives you the opportunity to explore around and visit all the exhibitions that they have. However, if you would like to visit this place more often and assist to the events and be part of the community, you can enroll in a membership. Here you can participate in the workshops and you can also watch local ceramists throwing a pot on their studio.
