Amelie's French Bakery & Cafe

Amelie's French Bakery & Cafe feels like a Parisian cafe nestled in the heart of Charlotte. The Villa Heights/NoDa location is a guest favorite. Funky art, giant chandeliers, mix-matched tables, and quaint dishware are all repurposed and add an eclectic flair to the patisserie.

Amelie's is best known for its French macarons and salted caramel brownies, but the full menu extends well beyond the pastry case. Breakfast options include a variety of quiches, breakfast sandwiches, and yogurt parfaits and lunch items range from toasted, open-faced sandwiches known as tartines, to soups, salads, and sandwiches. Every item is made from scratch daily. Locals await the seasonal menu release at the start of each quarter. Favorites from past menus include the strawberry passionfruit limonade and pumpkin cream cheese danishes. The baked goods are only part of the main draw at Amelie's. Many loyal patrons return daily for the espresso menu, which locals say is the best in town. Amelie's beverage menu is comprised of over 30 unique coffee, tea, and soda options. Lavender + honey sodas are perfect on hot days and the Café Marcotter is a great treat to cuddle up with on a rainy day.

Amelie's NoDa location is open 24/7 year-round, making it a perfect place to satiate a late-night sweets craving. Custom cakes and catering are also available and event space can be rented out for private parties.
