“The Insider's Guide” Of Where To Go And What To Do In Chicago

This unique store has everything you could need for a riveting cleansing of the chakras or conjuring up a spell. You can find gemstones, candles, pendulums, animal guide tokens, journals, jewelry, statues, skulls, books, incense, and even some small knick knacks.

The overall span of offerings is eclectic. Besides being a store, every month, Alchemy Arts holds classes and get togethers for those wanting to meet similar minded people or learn more about alchemy. They sometimes feature speakers and have book signings. The establishment has been around since 1989 and sits at the corner of Broadway and Bryn Mawr, just west of the Bryn Mawr Red Line Stop. The shop prides themselves on being a place of learning and practice. Not only is it a store, but also a meeting place where people don’t have to be afraid to ask questions and learn more. They even have have a black store cat named Lucy!

Patrons love the smell of Palo Alto in the store and many frequent the store regularly. Don't come in looking for a spell or cure—they are all about teaching you to help yourself, not the other way around.
