Super Fun Park got its name from my kids. One day after asking them if they wanted to go to the park, they repeatedly said they want to go to Super Fun Park. From their description of the slides, water play area, and amazing sandbox, I realized they were talking about Adams Playground Park in Lincoln Park. This park is a personal favorite on sunny Sunday mornings.
The sandbox at Super Fun Park is extremely clean and has plenty of community toys to play with for your kids. As a parent, not having to lug toys or worry about the unwarranted germs that lurk in a lot of sandboxes is a major plus. Another great thing about the sandbox is its positioning. Sitting there, you can see pretty much all round the park. That way parents can let the kids run throughout. The Adams Water Playground is gated separately but is full of slides and water spouts the kids love, especially on a warm day.
Not too far from the park is a new favorite of ours, Smashburger on N. Clybourne. The kids love it but--fair warning--there’s an amazing toy store next door so be prepared to distract the kids until you get inside. After a day at Super Fun Park and lunch at Smashburger, nap time is a breeze!
