If you are looking for the most photographed street in the city, then you've come to the right place. Acorn Street is the place to get that Instagram worthy photography and a popular spot for couples to have engagement photographs done.

This picturesque street is lined with little old colonial houses with their own unique features. As you stroll down the brick sidewalks, you will notice details such as tall doorways, shuttered windows and old lamp posts. The further you venture down this narrow street the more it appears to transform into an old London side street.

Winding up and down many of the houses you will notice vines making their way towards the sun as trees provide shade to you. The street is painted with different color cobblestones and pops of green where grass pokes through. One could get lost for hours on this short street, taking in all the visual beauty it has to offer. If you want a true taste of what colonial America looked like, all you history buffs need to swing by Acorn Street.

This street was home to artists and artisans in the 19th century. Nowadays, however, you will notice the price tag on these houses are almost as steep as the streets themselves on Beacon Hill. Living on Acorn Street is considered a prestigious accomplishment in the city.

Any love birds reading this post? This is one of the most common spots to take couples, engagement and proposal photos in the city. It's also a great spot to check out if you are looking for a true "New England" snap for your Instagram.
