Born in Spain and Raised in Puerto Rico by Puerto Rican parents. Héctor Rafael is an artist by trade and education. He graduated Cum Laude in his class at Syracuse University with a BFA in Painting and later received his Master’s in Art Education at Universidad del Turabo graduating Summa Cum Laude. His works exemplify creative and perplexing forms. His works have been on exhibition all over the world from Turkey to Italy. He has also been awarded the International Prize Botticelli for his talents in Florance, Italy.

In Héctor’s work, one can see the connections to the human body and how he can shape this historically structured idea of a person into a flowing notion of a being in a different world than our own.
