Able Seedhouse & Brewery works with small grain farmers in Minnesota to source seeds, then brings them into the Seedhouse where they are malted on-site in a half-ton malting system. From there, the malt is crafted into limited, small production beers. Able Seedhouse is passionate about art and values the artist community so much that they set up shop in the Arts District of Northeast Minneapolis. They go out of the way to support art and local artists in the taproom through their packaging and the building decor. The taproom was built by the local artist community—everything from lights and tables to graphics, glassware, and flyers.
The family and pet friendly taproom is open Wednesday thru Sunday. At any given time, patrons will find on tap IPA, Cloudy IPA, Brown Ale, Golden Ale, Pale Ale, Pub Ale, Wheat Ale, and Hazy IPA, plus a rotating infusion. Pair a beer with some grub from Animales Barbeque Company Thursday to Sunday.
Northeast Minneapolis is a vibrant community of artists, chefs, brewers, entrepreneurs, and families. Able Seedhouse strives to play a positive, additive role in their community by hiring staff from within the community. By fostering their neighbors and sharing a physical space with them, Able leaves a small footprint that represents the true expression of their community, neighborhood, and the people who share it.
