Digital Storytelling and Visitor Analytics for City and Cultural Institutions
The State Street Bridge isn't unique in that it's the only bridge taking folks over the Chicago River, but it is in the fact that it provides the best views of the city standing over the river (if you ask us.) The Reid, Murdoch & Co. Building, affectionately known as the Whirlpool Building was a makeshift hospital when the S.S. Eastland capsized in the Chicago River. To the east another landmark, the Wrigley Building, which was originally built to serve as the HQ for Wrigley's Company.
Just to the south is the Chicago Theater sign that's situated on the world-famous State Street, a gateway to shopping and theaters galore. Looking north is one of the city's hottest neighborhoods when it comes to nightlife. River North will never let you down when you're looking for a good time.
