The Times Square Alliance is proud to continue to work to improve and promote Times Square, so that it retains the creativity, energy and edge that have made it an icon for entertainment, culture and urban life for over a century.
The building at 3 Times Square is the 32-floor home of Thomson Reuters. Opened in 2001, this building serves as the other premier source of big billboard advertising next to 1 Times Square.
In front of a glass facade, 3 Times Square is used for all sorts of strange and progressive forms of advertising, marketing, and city-wide announcements. With everything from ads and commercials to sports statistics and birthday wishes, the screens at the Thomson Reuters building are constantly at work. The video below shows Korean Boy Band member Jungkook on the screen at Thomson Reuters.
The signs at 3 Times Square are comprised of 30,000 square feet of high-definition LED video screens and skylines displays. Even though the signs were only put up in 2001, they were an instant hit in Times Square.
