The Invisible Diamond: 100 Years of Negro League Baseball

America's favorite pastime brought people together even during a time of segregation. Although the Black baseball players did not play on the same teams, they often played non-black teams. This exhibit celebrates the legacy of the contribution of the gentlemen that persevered through segregation as they entertained people of all colors. This exhibit is made possible through a partnership with the Texas Kidney Foundation, the San Antonio Missions Baseball Team, the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures and SAACAM. Additional research provided by Edwin Ocasio-Lopez, Student, Texas A & M San Antonio.
