Lakeview Low-Line Art Walk

The Lakeview Low-Line (www.lakeviewchamber.com/lakeviewlowline) is transforming the half-mile space beneath the CTA ‘L’ tracks between Southport and Lincoln avenues into an exciting Chicago art destination and a fun and dynamic path connecting Lakeview. Funded by Special Service Area 27 and Friends of Lakeview, with the generous support of sponsors and donors, the Lakeview Low-Line beautifies the neighborhood while encouraging both visitors and residents to explore Lakeview’s local business districts. Sponsored by AARP Chicago, the Low-Line Art Walk includes murals on walls along the walkway and at the Low-Line Plazas, and plays host to rotating art exhibits, creating a larger-than-life outdoor gallery. Use the "Lakeview Low-Line Art Walk" adventure to discover West Lakeview's unique public art and understand the vibe and culture of the neighborhood, and visit www.lakeviewchamber.com/art to read more about the Lakeview Public Art Committee and their artist selection process!
