Hamilton Grange National Memorial

Once the home to US founding father Alexander Hamilton, the Grange is the sole surviving example of domestic architecture designed by famed architect John McComb Jr. The Grange existed when Harlem was a countryside suburb where the wealthiest New Yorkers gathered to talk politics amidst the furor of a newborn nation just beginning to find its place in the world.
