Groundbreaking Women of NYC

Women didn't get rights by asking -- they were won. Won by women who knocked down closed doors, went undercover, led strikes, and took gunshot wounds to the shoulder, chest, and jaw. These ladies served jail sentences, were deported, and had attempts made on their lives -- all for speaking up. But they weren't done talking.
