Trauma Sensitive Yoga

Trauma isn't just a mental memory or a lived experience. It hijacks our nervous system and at times our entire body and lives. Until we heal we continue to live in the cycle of our trauma past. Trauma is a loss of connection. Healing involves teaching ourselves to be safe in our bodies. During this time together we will use the tools of breath work and yoga to cultivate consciousness (awareness) which allows us to change our relationship to our past. These tools allow us to navigate finding safety and calm within our self. No yoga experience is necessary. Mats are available if needed. You are never asked to share your story, you are only asked to be present.
