Come learn more about the Greenway Conservancy's public art! Public art on The Greenway is always changing, with a focus on temporary and contemporary pieces. Don’t miss this chance to learn more about the artists and concepts through a tour focused on our current artworks.
Given the large amount of artwork on The Greenway, each tour will showcase about half of the current season. View the different tours below, and come for multiple tours to see all the artwork on The Greenway!
In odd numbered months (May, July, September), Greenway Public Art Tours will include:
Karl Unnasch's OPERANT (An Oldowonk Cataract), which explores the history of construction both in the human and animal kingdoms.
Starting in July: Julie Libersat's No Direction, which explores roadside signage and the expreience of losing our way.
Chris Labrooy's series of CGI Graphics of contorted cars in the North End.
Elliott Kayser’s Year of the Pig, the annual artwork which celebrates the current Chinese zodiac animal and honors the Chinatown community which has hidden pieces throughout The Greenway!

Elliott Kayser’s Year of the Pig in Chin Park, the annual artwork which celebrates the current Chinese zodiac animal and honors the Chinatown community.
Mia Cross’s We the People II captures the eyes of people who live, work, or pass through the Leather District.
Super A’s Resonance, a large scale landscape mural that invites new views of landscape painting.
Erwin Wurm’s UFO, a floating car that evokes the future.

This tour will be led by a Greenway Park Ambassador. This tour is a reoccurring event, and is free and open to the public. Registration is required and tours may need to be cancelled in the event of poor weather. Invite others, and share your experience online with our tag #GreenwayArt!
